BIOGRAPHY
Lorne is an experienced family lawyer practicing in association with Chand & Co. His primary
law firm is Fine & Associates Professional Corporation, Family & Divorce Lawyers.
Lorne’s law practice has focused on the resolution of family disputes for approximately 30
years. He is a proficient and skilled practitioner in all areas of family law including, but not
limited to, Divorce, Separation, Property Division, Domestic Agreements (ie. Marriage
Contracts, Prenuptial Agreements, Separation Agreements), Custody/Access, Child/Spousal
support, Restraining Orders, Common Law Relationships, and other family-related disputes.
In addition to being a senior family lawyer, Lorne is a qualified arbitrator in family law matters.
Lorne’s expertise is amplified by his educational experience as well as his professional
certificates and experience in the areas of negotiation, collaborative law, and mediation.
Lorne’s background has rendered him an influential spokesperson on family law issues in
Ontario. He has had the privilege of being interviewed for Global and CHCH television shows.
He was the resident Family Law and Divorce Lawyer for the radio program “Goldhawk Fights
Back” on channel AM740. Lorne’s skillset has provided him with the additional privilege of
being a guest lecturer on many occasions, specifically speaking on family and divorce law
matters in Ontario.
Lorne utilizes his specialized education and professional experience to obtain the best results
for his clients. He is incredibly knowledgeable in all areas of family law and a force of nature.
