BIOGRAPHY

Hishaam graduated from the University of Ottawa and obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree in 2024. He is insightful, grounded, compassionate and brings a people-first mindset to every aspect of his practice. With a background shaped by a plethora of life experiences and a passion for understanding human nature and human behaviour, Hishaam values connection, communication and community.

Hishaam regularly trains in Muay Thai, a discipline that mirrors his approach to legal advocacy: focus, resilience, and discipline. His time spent engaging with people from all walks of life has given him a strong perspective on the challenges individuals and organizations face, fueling his dedication to helping others through complex legal problems.

  • Represented Physician before the Discipline Committee of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons in bringing an urgent motion seeking an adjournment of the hearing on its merits.
  • Represented clients before the Law Society Tribunal Appeal Division in bringing an appeal and motion to set aside order pending appeal.
  • Represented clients before the Ontario Licence Appeal Tribunal arguing against extending an interim suspension order dealing with an OMVIC licence.
  • Represented clients before the Superior Court of Justice in bringing and urgent motion to set aside notice of garnishment and allow for an adequate defence.
