BIOGRAPHY
Haris is an Associate at Chand & Co. with a client-focused practice in commercial, civil and corporate litigation. Known for his thoughtful approach, attention to detail, and practical mindset, Haris works closely with clients to deliver clear, effective solutions tailored to their specific needs and objectives. His experience supporting businesses at various stages of growth allows him to understand the challenges faced by entrepreneurs, corporations, and investors alike.
Before joining Chand & Co., Haris gained valuable in-house experience working on the legal team at one of Canada’s largest wealth management companies, where he strengthened his knowledge of securities law, shareholder rights, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
While completing his Juris Doctor at the Western University Faculty of Law, Haris was actively involved with the Western Business Law Clinic, serving as both a Caseworker and Student Director. In those roles, he assisted small businesses, start-ups, and entrepreneurs by providing practical legal guidance on a variety of business matters.
Haris also advises clients on corporate structuring, governance, commercial agreements, and day-to-day business matters. Clients value his responsive service, business-minded perspective, and commitment to achieving efficient and practical results.
