The lawyers at Chand & Co. are pleased to announce the withdrawal of all charges laid by the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services against Utilebill Credit Corporation (“UCC”) under the Consumer Protection Act. Mr. Chand, counsel to UCC stated “Utilebill was painted as a predatory entity which was not at all the case. Had the Crown proceeded to trial, we were prepared to vigorously defend UCC against these charges”. Now that the charges have been withdrawn, UCC can begin working to repair the reputational damage that this matter has caused.
